The gite

A house typical of the region, situated in an ancient farm,
in the middle of the village, with a holiday home opposite to it.

This newly renovated construction is set back from the main street.

Arrangement
Ground floor : living-room with an fitted kitchen and a fireplace + bathroom with WC
First floor : 2 bedrooms with a double bed each (140) + 1 WC + a covered balcony
Second floor : 1 bedroom under a mansard roof with 3 single beds (90)

Equipment
Electric heating, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine.
Garden table and chairs, barbecue, courtyard.

Le Gîte de la Cour Bourdoux
The village
This small village of 150 inhabitant, set in a lush valley, irrigated by several water sources, near the 'eternal hill' of Vézelay, is an interesting door to the Morvan régional Park *. In spite of the agriculture modernization, it has preserved its meadows, its forests, its grapevines and especially its charm. The progressive restoration of its oldest buildings, the tolling of the church bells, the crowing of the roosters or the donkeys bray, all make it a typical and pleasant village. Situated on the GR 13, it is often crossed by walkers.

You will be able taste exotic dishes prepared by Evelyne and Carlos in the Tamaris restaurant and you will be able to refresh yourself at the Fountain Bar (occasionally music live).

The Cure river can be enjoyed by hikers, fishermen and swimmers.

If you like mountain bike or walk, you will find in the gite different itineraries.

The nearest shops are situated at : St Père (3 km) - Vézelay (5 km) - Avallon (17 km).
